Item Details

Comes with original sales receipt from 1937, brochure, and silverware chest. The sterling flatware is in excellent condition and has been nicely preserved in a tarnish proof silverware chest. There is 118.60 ounces of pure sterling and another estimated 12.5 ounces in sterling from the 24 knives that have sterling handles. The total sterling weight is 131.1 ounces. The Primrose pattern is highly detailed and was one of the more expensive patterns offered by International Sterling back in 1937. The sterling flatware set would make for a nice heirloom sterling service. The 12 forks alone are selling for $90/each on Replacements ($1,080.) Estimate value is $4000+.
