This combined estate sale features the musical instrument collection of Wade Norton, a musician and former Chief Engineer at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California, and one of the people most closely tied to the studio's development, helping rebuild it in the early 1990s. Item Details

Specs: Ultra-early hand-crafted era built by founder Bernie Rico with original stock Guild pickups. Upgraded with a Washburn Wonderbar to perfectly balance an unplayable guitar due to excessively neck heavy guitar. Original tuners replaced with updated factory spec version and original factory Wonderbar installation instruction sheets included. Marked as a 2 but intense scrutiny never found a flaw unless it was the excessive weight of the neck that made the guitar unplayable.

Case: Original, heavy-duty first-generation hardshell Coffin Case (diamond-tuck velvet).

Provenance: Direct music industry gift. Famously used on stage by a young Jeff Healey during a regular Sunday night open blues jam at "The Stage" in North Hollywood late 1980's right before he signed with Clive Davis.
