We are proud to present a lifetime collection of antique Mexican retablos and Russian Orthodox icons, assembled by a single owner over more than sixty years. Three of the Russian icons in this sale were acquired directly from a landmark 1971 auction at Sotheby Parke Bernet. Each is an original devotional work, a testament to the deep faith expressed from the churches of Mexico to those of Russia.
